A minibus carrying 14 passengers overturned near the village of Zubutli-Miatli in the Republic of Dagestan. This was announced on August 5 by the investigative department of the regional Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in its Telegram channel.

"According to preliminary data, the driver of a Gazelle car with 14 passengers lost control, causing the vehicle to overturn," the report said.

The ministry clarified that as a result of the accident, there are victims, they are receiving medical care.

Investigators are working at the scene, they are establishing the circumstances of the accident. A procedural decision will be made based on the results of the audit, the investigative committee added.

Earlier in the day, it became known about the collision of a passenger bus with a concrete pillar at a payment point in the Tula region. It was noted that the accident occurred on the highway M-4 "Don". The bus was traveling on the Lugansk – Moscow route. In addition, heavy fog on the road could have caused the accident. The government of the Luhansk People's Republic (LNR) has released footage of the moment of the accident.

Russian Assistant Minister of Health Alexei Kuznetsov later announced the hospitalization of 35 victims. He added that the condition of five people is currently assessed as serious. The rest are in a state of moderate severity.
