One person was killed and one injured in a truck accident near Chita.

In the Chita region of the Trans-Baikal Territory, as a result of a collision between a passenger car and a truck, one person was killed and one injured. The regional State Traffic Inspectorate reports this in its Telegram channel.

The accident occurred on Tuesday afternoon, August 5, on the 37th km of the federal highway A-370 Chita – Zabaikalsk. Toyota Wish and Iveco truck collided.

As a result of the accident, the 30-year-old passenger of the car received various injuries, from which he died on the spot. The driver of the car was taken to a medical facility, writes ChitaMedia news agency.

The circumstances of the accident are being established.

Earlier in the day, two Toyota Land Cruiser SUVs collided on the highway in Primorye. As a result, one of the motorists was killed, his wife and 13-year-old daughter were injured. A six-year-old boy who was in the second car was also injured.
