The governor of the Tula region Dmitry Milyaev reported on the condition of the victims of the bus accident. He wrote about this on his Telegram channel on August 5.
According to the governor, 34 people were taken to regional and district hospitals.
"The condition of all the injured is under the control of the regional Ministry of Health <...> there are 14 people in the hospitals of the regional, Novomoskovsk, Uzlovka and Kireyevskaya hospitals and the emergency hospital," the publication says.
Milyaev noted that nine victims of the accident will continue outpatient treatment, 11 (three of them children) refused to be hospitalized. It is specified that 13 uninjured passengers are already heading by bus to Moscow.
The collision of a passenger bus in the Tula region became known earlier that day. It was noted that the accident occurred on the highway M-4 "Don", there were 50 people on the bus. Later, the Ministry of Health reported that 39 people were injured in the accident, 35 of them were hospitalized. A criminal case has been opened into the incident. It also became known later that the bus driver was distracted. As noted, he "dozed off for three minutes," which led to an accident.
