In Vladivostok, work on the renovation of the pavement on the bridge to Russian Island was completed a month earlier than planned. This is reported by FKU DSD "Far East", subordinate to Rosavtodor.

The length of the bridge across the Eastern Bosphorus Strait is more than 3 km. As part of the surface treatment, road workers laid a protective and restorative compound over the entire area of the crossing, exceeding 45 thousand square meters. m.

"The surface treatment device will eliminate minor defects in the coating and increase its resistance to the effects of climatic factors, thereby extending the service life of the coating," said Sergey Petraev, director of FCU DSD Far East.

The Vostochny Bosphorus Bridge was built in 2012, and it is one of the largest cable-stayed bridges in the world, according to PrimaMedia news agency. According to Petraev, during the 13 years of operation, the structure has not developed any ruts or dimples, and the coating still does not require repair. Depending on the season, 30-50 thousand cars pass through the bridge per day.
