The Investigative Committee opened a case on the death of a loader driver at a warehouse in Primorye.

In Ussuriysk (Primorsky Krai), a 29-year-old man was killed as a result of a forklift overturning. A criminal case has been opened, the regional Investigative Committee and the prosecutor's office report in their Telegram channels.

The tragedy occurred on Monday, August 4, near warehouses on Chicherina Street. According to the agencies, a 29-year-old employee allowed a forklift truck to overturn while driving.

Judging by the video from the surveillance camera, special equipment was working on a multi-level site and tipped over from the top to the bottom, falling first forward and then falling on its side.

The loader driver suffered a life-threatening injury. The young man died, writes IA PrimaMedia.

A criminal case has been opened under Part 2 of Article 143 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Violation of labor protection requirements, resulting in the death of a person by negligence." The Ussuri Prosecutor's office has also launched an investigation into the employer. All the circumstances of a person's death are being established.

On July 28, a 32-year-old tractor driver died during harvesting in the Novovarshavka work settlement in the Omsk region. The man's hand was pulled into the rotating shaft. He died on the spot from his injury.
