American singer Jane Morgan has died at the age of 101. This was reported on August 5 by The Independent newspaper.

"Famous Broadway singer and actress Jane Morgan has died at the age of 101 in Naples, Florida," the article says.

Morgan was born in 1924 under the name Florence Catherine Carrier. She began her career as a singer in nightclubs, and then gained fame in Paris and signed a contract with the record company Polydor.

Morgan's song Fascination became a hit, in total she released about 40 albums and performed works in five different languages. The singer was married to film producer Jerry Weintraub, who collaborated with Elvis Presley, Bob Dylan, Frank Sinatra and others.
