On August 5, the songs of the rock band "The King and the Fool" performed by Andrey Knyazev were performed for the first time at the Ice Palace in St. Petersburg. Thousands of fans of the band were able to honor the memory of vocalist Mikhail Gorshenev.

"The best compositions of the legendary band are played in the Ice Palace. This is the venue where "The King and the Fool" has never performed solo. So "Knyazz" fills in the gap, delighting fans with those very hits," said Natalia Oskerko, a correspondent for Izvestia.

Fans of the rock band, together with Andrey Knyazev, remember the "Dead Anarchist", sing the "Fool's Hymn" in chorus and cry to the instrumental version of "Memories of Former Love". This program is special both for the audience and for the Knyazz team. It is noted that during the rehearsals, the musicians practiced each composition in order to reproduce the sound of the songs as 15-20 years ago.

"The energy is crazy, I think I won't fall asleep until five in the morning," said one of the musicians, Dimitri Naskidashvili.

Albert Wiesenberg, another musician of the band, also pointed out that the atmosphere of the concert is still different. According to him, the reason lies in the reaction of fans — someone comes "to be a little sad, and someone just to be a little happy."

The band members are also continuing to work on a new album. This year "Knyazz" turns 15 years old, a gift in honor of this date will be a collection of the best songs, but not just taken from the past, but re-released.

In addition, the band is now filming its major concerts for broadcast across the country. The first such experience was the anniversary of Knyazev, in whose honor the band performed on the stage of the St. Petersburg Sports and Concert Complex in 2023. That experiment took a lot of time due to the need to refine the recording to the perfect ethereal sound.

"For the history of the Knyazz group, this is a very important artifact," concluded Knyazev.
