The number of people injured in an accident involving a passenger bus that collided with a pillar at a payment point in the Tula region has increased to 30. This was announced on August 5 by the press service of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region.

"More than 30 people were previously injured, including four children. There is no information about the dead," reads a message posted on the Telegram channel.

According to the agency, there were 48 people on the bus. They also added that the cause of the accident could be heavy fog on the road.

The collision of a passenger bus in the Tula region became known earlier that day. It is specified that the accident occurred on the highway M-4 "Don". The bus was traveling on the Lugansk — Moscow route.
