Russian engineers have invented a new reusable unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) "Bulldog-13". This was announced on August 5 by an FPV drone engineer of the 10th separate Tank Regiment of the Southern Military District with the call sign Nimble.

"A new drone has just been sent to us for testing — the Bulldog-13. There are two cameras in it at once — day and night, the camera tilts like on a Mavic," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

According to the expert, this drone is not disposable, as it also includes a device for dropping ammunition. He added that the new drone is capable of carrying up to 4 kg of cargo.

In addition, the UAV will be much more difficult for the enemy to intercept, since this model has its own data transmission protocol for control with a high level of encryption, the engineer said.

A source from Izvestia reported on June 10 that the Russian Defense Ministry was discussing an initiative to create the country's first Higher Military School for Unmanned Systems in the Moscow Region. It is planned that the university will accept the first cadets on September 1, 2027, and it will graduate officers for the new branch of the armed forces.
