According to the agency, the action of the Klyuchevskaya and Krashennikova volcanoes will continue with ash emissions of up to 8 km each.
The conclusions were made during a meeting of the Kamchatka branch of the Russian Expert Council on Earthquake Forecasting, Seismic Hazard Assessment and Risk of seismic and volcanic hazards in the region.
"The volcanic tremor continues, which is gradually intensifying. In the coming days, an eruption with ash emissions of up to 10 km is possible," the Ministry of Emergency Situations wrote in its Telegram channel about the Klyuchevskaya volcano.
At the same time, the seismic activity of the Kambalny volcano decreases. At the same time, a thermal anomaly was recorded on the Mutnovsky volcano.
Earlier that day, an ash discharge occurred in Kamchatka to a height of up to 7 thousand meters from the Klyuchevsky volcano. After the incident, the plume from the release spread in a southeasterly direction towards the Pacific Ocean. There are no settlements on his way.
