Calculations of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Southern Group of Forces destroyed an enemy BMP-2 and advanced in the area of the village of Vyemka in the area of a special military operation (SVO). This was reported by Izvestia on August 5.

It is specified that the enemy equipment was discovered at the moment of advancing to the positions of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

"The infantry fighting vehicle was immobilized by an accurate hit from an attack drone, after which it was destroyed by a masterfully precise dropping of an explosive device into the hatch, which caused the detonation of ammunition and cargo," correspondent Egor Kildibekov reported.

In addition, UAV operators of the 6th Motorized Rifle Division of the Southern group in the area of Konstantinovka destroyed two robotic platforms of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The devices were used by the enemy to bring ammunition and provisions to the positions. They were discovered during aerial reconnaissance from drones.

In addition, two Baba Yaga drone control points were hit in the Seversk area. The first point was destroyed by a UAV strike, and the second was hit by fire using a 152-mm Msta-B howitzer.

The successful operation made it possible to deprive the Ukrainian Armed Forces of the opportunity to conduct aerial reconnaissance and adjust artillery in one of the sections of the SVR zone.

On August 4, the operator of the Lancet barrage ammunition of the Rubicon Advanced Unmanned Technology Testing Center destroyed the Malachite radar station of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). The reconnaissance of the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) has detected a mobile enemy radar station based on a KrAZ truck near the village of Chervonoye.
