A girl UAV operator told about her service in the ranks of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation

The first female operator of aircraft—type FPV drones in the Russian Army with the call sign Radio Operator is in the 1st Slavic Brigade of the 51st Guards Army of the Southern Military District. For the liberation of Avdiivka, the radio operator received the Order of Courage. There, her unit supported the actions of our assault groups.

"We worked closely with the assaults, destroying the enemy with FPV drones. We have a lot of damaged equipment there, just a lot," she shared her memories.

Currently, combat work is underway in the Pokrovsk area. Clashes can last for days, and each serviceman can perform several functions.

"You're constantly wearing glasses, your eyesight may drop, and physiological factors affect fatigue. And if something happens to the main pilot, you have a second one who will continue to perform tasks. <...> Now the enemy is hastily trying to hold the crumbling defenses. Our attack aircraft guys are great, we support them from the air, and they feel our presence," the radio operator explained.
