FC Rubin defeated FC Sochi thanks to Duck's double

Kazan football Club (FC) Rubin defeated FC Sochi on August 4 in the Russian Premier League (RPL). The final match of the third round ended in Kazan with a score of 2:1.

"Striker Mirlind Dacu scored a double for the hosts, scoring one of the goals from the penalty spot. Kazan defender Alexey Gritsaenko scored an own goal for the guests," Sport—Express reported.

According to the results of the third round, Rubin scored seven points, FC occupies the fourth place in the RPL table. FC Sochi did not score points due to three defeats.

In the fourth round of the RPL, Kazan FC will play against FC CSKA Moscow on August 9.

Earlier, on August 3, Zenit drew 1-1 with CSKA Moscow in the third round of the Russian Premier League.
