APU recruits foreigners for $715 per month

From $715 to $2.3 thousand. The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) offer foreign mercenaries depending on the complexity of their tasks, Izvestia found out.

During training sessions, which last an average of a month, fighters are promised $490. Then, for work outside the combat zone, mercenaries can be paid $ 715, while for direct participation in them — $ 2.3 thousand. A foreign fighter will receive this amount only if he completes combat missions for a full month.

Another $1.6 thousand can be earned by mercenaries for continuous 30 days of participation in battles against the Russian army.

According to the Ukrainian side, more than 8,000 fighters from 72 countries are currently serving in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At the same time, about 40% are from Latin America. Approximately 600 mercenaries join the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine every month, which is four times higher than at the beginning of the conflict.
