An accident with a seven-year-old girl driver occurred in the Belgorod region.

In the city of Stary Oskol, Belgorod region, a seven-year-old girl driving a Lada Vesta passenger car hit a 45-year-old man, as well as a bench and two cars. This was announced on August 4 by the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region in its Telegram channel.

"A Lada Vesta car, while reversing, hit a 45-year-old man, and subsequently hit a bench and two parked cars. It was previously established that the car was driven by a seven-year-old girl. Her 37-year-old father was inside the vehicle as a passenger at the time...> under the influence of alcohol," the message says.

As noted in the department, the man was hospitalized with multiple injuries.

All the circumstances of the incident are currently being established.

An administrative case was initiated on the fact of the accident under art. 12.24 ("Violation of traffic regulations, causing minor or moderate harm to the victim's health") and Part 3 of art. 12.7 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ("Transfer of control of a vehicle to a person who obviously does not have the right to drive").

Earlier that day, a man was killed and a woman was injured in a collision between two cars near Verkhnyaya Pyshma in the Sverdlovsk region. It is specified that the driver of the Belgee passenger car drove into the oncoming lane and collided with a Dongfeng truck with a semi-trailer. Then the car was thrown back into its lane, and it crashed into Daewoo and Toyota RAV4 cars.
