The Moscow Youth Parliament has launched creative studios for creating radio programs and radio performances. Muscovites between the ages of 16 and 30 will be able to take part in them. The program includes lectures and trainings, and the result of the work will be author's projects that will be published on the PROCAST project website. This was reported in the Department of territorial executive authorities of Moscow.

"Creative studios were opened as part of the PROCAST project, whose participants are engaged in radio journalism and podcasting. Thanks to the new direction, the children will have more than 80 hours of face—to-face classes and 200 hours of work in the recording studio of the Youth Parliament," said Marina Prozorova, Deputy head of the Department of Territorial Executive Authorities of Moscow.

Participants will learn how to create a radio program — from the idea to the broadcast, master speech techniques and acting skills, develop scripts and prepare radio performances.

"We plan to create more than 100 podcasts and develop 10 author's radio programs that will become part of our Internet radio broadcast. We also want to organize two city festivals and invite experts and participants of creative studios to them," said Irina Anikina, head of the PROCAST project.

The project is aimed at young Muscovites seeking to develop a personal brand through media content. The selection in the studio is carried out on a competitive basis: it is necessary to join the Youth Parliament of Moscow, pass an interview and complete a creative task.

The Youth Parliament unites 132 regional youth chambers and implements projects in the political, social and cultural spheres. Graduates of the organization work in various positions in city authorities and other structures.
