The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) of Russia is considering the possibility of increasing the minimum volume of gasoline sales on the stock exchange from 15% to 17%. This was announced on Monday, August 4, by the press service of the department.

"The FAS of Russia is considering raising the minimum volume of gasoline sales on the stock exchange to 17%," TASS cites the text of the message.

According to the FAS statement, this measure will contribute to ensuring pricing transparency and minimizing the risks of unjustified price increases.

It is specified that the agency also monitors prices at about 12 thousand gas stations, including gas stations of vertically integrated and independent companies. In case of detection of violations of antimonopoly legislation, response measures are taken.
