Dynamo forward Tyukavin took a look at the Chinese car
Dynamo Moscow striker Konstantin Tyukavin visited the Changan Automobile plant in the Chinese city of Chongqing. In China, a 23-year-old athlete tested one of the new locally made car models. In addition, Tyukavin was shown the very process of creating machines — according to the player, he highly appreciates the quality of the products.
"It was interesting to see the Changan production work and to test one of the cars at the wheel, as well as to travel in other company cars as a passenger. It's hard to fully evaluate the car in such a short time, but the various "chips" of these cars immediately caught my eye — screens, lighting, massage, ventilation," Tyukavin told Izvestia.
The blue and white forward arrived in China in those days when Dynamo was preparing for the away match of the 3rd round of the Russian championship against Krasnodar and lost it with a minimum score of 0:1. The absence of the 23-year-old football player in the team's location is due to the fact that he has been injured since March. Then, in the away game against Rostov (1-1), Konstantin suffered cruciate ligament damage and was out for a long time. He is expected to return to the field in the fall. During the reconstruction, the club took the opportunity to take the player to the base of one of its partners — one of the oldest and largest Chinese car factories (Changan was founded back in 1862) began cooperation with FC Dynamo a year ago. Last March, the parties announced an extension of cooperation until the end of the current football season.
Konstantin Tyukavin is one of the most promising Dynamo graduates. He made his debut for the main blue and white team in November 2020 and soon became one of its leaders. In the Russian championships, the striker played 122 matches, in which he scored 40 goals. Along with the Russian Cup games, he has 149 matches and 48 goals for Dynamo. Tyukavin won bronze medals twice as a member of the club, in the 2021/2022 and 2023/2024 seasons. At the end of the 2023/2024 season, Sport-Express recognized him as the footballer of the year based on a survey among the players.
In 2021-2022, he scored six goals in 12 matches for the Russian youth national team, where he participated in the 2021 European Youth Championship. In September 2021, he made his debut for the Russian national team, where he played six matches and scored one goal.
Earlier, on July 7, the new Changan CS75 Plus was first shown in Russia. The fourth generation Changan CS75 Plus will make its debut on the Russian market a year after the third generation model. The car's length increased by 60 mm, width by 45 mm, and wheelbase by 90 mm. The crossover's suspension has been reconfigured — the shock absorption stiffness has been reduced by 30%, the longitudinal swing by 20%, and the lateral rolls by 15%.
