Ukrainian Armed Forces drone attacked a church in Kharkiv region
The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) used a drone to strike a church building in the village of Novoegorovka, Kharkiv region. This was announced on August 4 by the head of the military-civil administration of the region, Vitaly Ganchev.
"Armed formations of Ukraine, using UAVs, attacked a church building in the village of Novoegorovka, Kharkiv region. As a result of the attack by a Ukrainian drone, windows were broken in the temple, the roof and facade were damaged," he wrote on the Telegram channel.
He stressed that civilians were not injured. Ganchev clarified that in the near future, the administration staff will begin work to restore the damaged parts of the building so that people can continue to attend church.
Earlier, on July 23, three civilians were injured as a result of a mine explosion in the Kharkiv region. According to Ganchev, two men and a woman were injured as a result of the detonation of the ammunition, and they were taken to the hospital.
