The business program of the VII Kyrgyz-Russian Economic Forum has been published

The business program of the VII Kyrgyz-Russian Economic Forum, which will be held on August 13-15, 2025 on the shores of the picturesque lake Issyk-Kul, has been published. The event is organized by the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund (RCDF) with the support of the Roscongress Foundation under the international brand Roscongress International.

The plenary session "Digital Sovereignty as a factor of stable growth and technological cooperation in the EAEU" will open the business program. Participants will discuss critical elements of digital sovereignty, joint solutions to overcome technological dependence, and the role of development institutions in supporting digital projects. Special attention will be paid to the integration of digital platforms into industry and logistics.

Special session of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum "Economics of Partnership: New Horizons of Cooperation" will present the best practices of the country's main economic forum. Alexey Valkov, Deputy Director of the Roscongress Foundation and Director of the SPIEF, noted: "We see the growing interest of the Kyrgyz business in the initiatives developed by the Roscongress Foundation, and we are ready to share the best practices gained during our major events, from SPIEF to international exhibition formats."

The forum program includes a series of thematic discussions, each of which is devoted to topical aspects of bilateral cooperation. The participants will discuss the digitalization of the financial sector with the support of Gazprombank, the prospects for the development of e-commerce and logistics infrastructure, the possibilities of integrating the EAEU tourism markets, as well as the transformation of the labor market under the influence of new technologies.

A special place in the program will be occupied by events dedicated to the tenth anniversary of Kyrgyzstan's accession to the EAEU. The scientific and practical conference will allow analyzing the achieved results of economic integration, and round tables with the participation of the National Investment Agency of Kyrgyzstan and representatives of the business councils of the two countries will help identify new promising areas of cooperation.

The forum is expected to bring together more than 800 participants – representatives of government agencies, the business community and the expert pool of Russia and Kyrgyzstan.
