- ROSSETI will increase investments in the network infrastructure of the Nizhny Novgorod region by one and a half times in 2025.
Gleb Nikitin, Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, and Andrey Ryumin, CEO of PJSC ROSSETI, held a working meeting, the press services of the Regional Administration and the company reported. The participants discussed the development of the grid complex, preparations for the heating season, as well as the implementation of the previously signed regulatory agreement.
"Creating opportunities for new technological connections and improving the reliability of the energy supply system is a strategic issue for the development of territories. The project, which is being implemented today in the area of Olgino and Novinok, fully covers the needs of these territories in the mainline capacities. By analogy, we also plan to improve the energy supply to consumers in the area of the cancer center and Semashko Hospital, taking into account plans to create a large medical cluster here," said Gleb Nikitin.
"The industry of the Nizhny Novgorod region is actively developing, including through high-tech enterprises, and the number of jobs is increasing. Special attention is paid to social policy and support for families, where housing construction is one of the priorities. This requires timely modernization and development of the electric grid infrastructure. In 2025, we plan to invest over 14 billion rubles in the region," emphasized Andrey Ryumin.
In 2025, it is reported that more than 10,000 contracts for technological connection of consumers will be implemented in the region. The key objectives for the next two years are the construction of two 110 kV substations to supply almost 650,000 square meters of housing in the Nizhny Novgorod agglomeration. The reconstruction of the 220 kV power facility, which supplies the Bogorodsky and Kstovsky districts of the region, where about 400,000 people live and more than 200 large enterprises operate, will be completed.
The planned amount of financing for the ROSSETI Group's maintenance and repair program in the region this year is more than 3 billion rubles, which is 17% higher than last year.
