A civilian was injured as a result of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the town of Alyoshka in the Kherson region. This was announced on August 4 by the governor of the region, Vladimir Saldo.
"A man born in 1963 was injured in Alyoshki. He was hospitalized in Alyoshkinskaya CRH," wrote Baldo in his Telegram channel.
It is also reported that windows were broken in an apartment building in the village of Dneprany, the facade, roof and walls were damaged. An emergency power outage was recorded in the Kakhovsky district. More than 2.5 thousand people were left without electricity, two socially significant facilities were switched to backup power sources. Repair crews have begun restoration work.
In addition, forest fires occurred in the Holopristan and Kakhovsky municipal districts on a total area of more than 262 hectares. All fires have been extinguished.
Kakhovka, Novaya Kakhovka, Malaya Lepetikha and Staraya Mayachka also came under fire.
On August 1, in the village of Velikiye Kopani, Kherson region, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked trade pavilions, injuring at least six people. It is specified that the wounded were taken to the Alyoshkin central district hospital.
