Peter Pivovarov, a sound engineer and member of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia, died in Moscow at the age of 71. The film organization announced this on August 4.

"On August 1, 2025, at the age of 72, our colleague, sound engineer Pyotr Viktorovich Pivovarov (1953-2025) passed away. <...> We express our deep condolences to the family and friends of Pyotr Viktorovich," the website of the Union of Cinematographers says.
