Moldova's National Energy Agency revoked Moldovagaz's license
The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) has approved the decision to revoke the license for the supply of natural gas from the Russian-Moldovan company Moldovagaz. This was announced on August 4 by the press service of the regulator.
"The ANRE Administrative Council approved the decision to revoke the license of the AC series No. 001402 dated 06.11.2018, issued by Moldovagaz JSC for natural gas supply activities," the message says.
The Moldovan state-owned company Energocom will take over the services performed by Moldovagaz. She has been appointed as a gas supplier for a period of three years.
Moldovagaz, in turn, reported that they had taken note of the ANRE's decision.
"Moldovagaz JSC has taken note of ANRE's decision to revoke the license for the supply of natural gas and cancel the obligation of public services, including as a last resort, as well as to endow Energocom JSC with a public service obligation, including as a last resort, for the supply of natural gas. gas to end consumers," the company's website says.
Earlier, on June 19, the former president of Moldova, the leader of the Party of Socialists of the country, Igor Dodon, stressed the negative impact on the economy of the republic due to the rejection of Russian gas.
