Tourists vacationing on the Black Sea coast in the vicinity of Tuapse themselves began to clean the water from wooden driftwood and debris after the flood in the Krasnodar Territory. Yaroslav Bogat, a correspondent of Izvestia, told about this on August 4.

According to the correspondent, now in some places the sea looks like a single canvas of logs and branches.

One of the interlocutors of Izvestia said that the resort residents stack wooden logs and branches in piles on the beach. No one asked them to do this — they decided to help voluntarily.

"It's an individual matter. Whoever has the desire cleanses. But you can't clean everything up, the scale is big," said Kirill, a tourist.

According to Dmitry, another vacationer, the more people involved in the cleanup, the sooner the problem will be solved.

"If everyone attacks, we'll clear it faster. We're all on our own, we're going slowly," he commented.

A storm warning was issued in Kuban the day before due to heavy rainfall. Later, amid flooding in the village of Defanovka in the Kuban, a bus with passengers fell from a bridge into the river. We managed to save all 25 people.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
