The Russian military destroyed the Ukrainian Malakhit radar station in the DPR with a Lancet.

The operator of the Lancet barrage ammunition of the Rubicon Advanced Unmanned Technology Testing Center destroyed the Malachite radar station of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was announced on August 4 by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

They clarified that the reconnaissance of the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) had detected a mobile enemy radar station based on a KrAZ truck near the village of Chervonoye. The coordinates of the target were transferred to the calculation of the Lancet strike complex.

"The operator of the Lancet barrage ammunition of the Rubicon center hit the radar of the Ukrainian nationalists with a direct hit. The destruction of the Malakhit station by the Ukrainian Armed Forces was confirmed by objective monitoring personnel," the ministry said.

Earlier that day, operators of FPV drones of the Guards 58th Combined Arms Army of the Dnepr group of forces destroyed up to 10 dugouts with personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Orekhiv direction in the Zaporizhia region. It was noted that during the operation, Russian fighters also hit military equipment of the Ukrainian army and electronic warfare (EW) equipment.
