UAZ does not test modifications with an automatic transmission
UAZ is not currently testing off-road vehicles of the Patriot model with a diesel engine and an automatic transmission (automatic transmission). On August 4, Izvestia was informed about this by the press service of the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant.
"UAZ still has the intention to introduce modifications with automatic transmission into the model range. But at the moment, it's still premature to talk about any plans for the appearance of such versions - the main focus of the test program is now on diesel versions with a six—speed manual transmission. It is such a UAZ Pickup truck that is captured in photographs that have recently been published in a number of Telegram channels. This is our test car, but with a diesel engine and 6MKP," the company said.
On July 24, it became known that the first batch of UAZ vehicles assembled by the large-scale method at the Cuban enterprise had been handed over to the customer. The keys to several Patriot SUVs were handed over to a government customer. A similar scheme will be tested for private clients, and a batch of UAZ Pickup trucks will be delivered to them in the near future.
