The Russian fifth-generation Su-57 fighter surpasses even the best Western fighters in performance. This was reported on August 4 by the Italian online publication L'antidiplomatico.

"Even the best fighters supplied by the West are at risk of becoming obsolete in the face of a new generation of Russian weapons," the publication says.

According to the material, if Russian fighters use Dagger missiles, even Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems (SAMs) will not be able to stop them. It is noted that Moscow is creating next-generation weapons while the Ukrainian side is trying to compensate for the shortage of military equipment.

It is also clarified that NATO is particularly concerned about the growing power of fighter jets from the Russian Federation, which are capable of surpassing their Western counterparts. Experts believe that even the newest fighters of the North Atlantic Alliance are inferior to such examples as the Su-57.

Earlier, on July 18, The National Interest magazine named the Su-35S the best fighter of the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS). It was noted that the Russian fighter has exceptional maneuverability and can perform such complex aerobatics as the Pugachev's Cobra and Somersault.
