The DPR reported the loss of an important fortified area for the protection of Dimitrov by the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have lost an important fortified area, which is needed to protect the settlement of Dimitrov in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was announced on August 4 by Igor Kimakovsky, adviser to the head of the DPR.

According to him, we are talking about the cleansing of the mining and processing plant east of Dimitrov by the Russian Army from the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

"It was an important fortification for the defense of the city," Kimakovsky told TASS.

The capture of the city opens the way for Russian troops to Konstantinovka and the Kramatorsk-Slavyanskaya agglomeration.

On August 2, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that units of the South group of forces of the Russian Armed Forces had liberated the settlement of Alexandro-Kalinovo in the DPR. As a result of the actions of the Russian army, the enemy lost up to 150 militants and three armored combat vehicles.
