"Today, the weather in the capital region will be formed by the northern periphery of an active cyclone, the center of which will be over the south of the Chernozem region in the middle of the day. It will cover the sky with dense clouds, and rains will arrive around noon, which will sometimes be torrential and accompanied by thunderstorms, which will limit daytime warming," the message says.
It is noted that the temperature in the capital will reach +22 to +24 degrees, while in the Moscow region the air temperature will be from +20 to +25 degrees. The atmospheric pressure will be 744 mmHg, which is lower than normal.
On August 1, Tatiana Pozdnyakova, a leading specialist at the Meteonosti news agency, said that residents of the capital should adapt to the new climatic conditions, which are similar to the subtropical climate. According to her, the heat above +30 degrees and heavy rains are now part of the new climate regime.
