In the Leningrad region, as a result of a collision between a tour bus and a freight train, two people were killed and 10 others were injured. This was announced on August 4 by a source of Izvestia.
"Two people were killed and 10 people were injured," the source said.
He specified that there were 37 tourists on the bus, the transport followed the Kem – Yaroslavl route.
"A bus carrying tourists collided with a freight train at Inema station," the Telegram channel of the North—Western Transport Prosecutor's Office reported.
The circumstances of the incident are being established, the department added. The Prosecutor's Office is conducting an audit on the implementation of legislation on safety in the operation of railway transport and the observance of passengers' rights.
The press service of the prosecutor's office of the Perm Region reported two dead and another injured in an accident involving a car and a truck. It is noted that law enforcement agencies arrived at the scene.
