In the city of Belovo, five people were killed and another injured in an accident. This was announced on August 4 in the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Kemerovo region.

"The incident occurred <...> on the Belovo – Novy Gorodok highway. <...> The driver of a Honda Accord lost control and hit a KAMAZ truck parked on the side of the road," the department's Telegram channel says.

It is specified that five people who were in the passenger car were killed and another woman was injured. She was taken to the hospital with injuries of varying severity.

Emergency services are on site. Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs initiated a criminal case under Part 5 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of traffic rules and operation of vehicles").
