In the city of Leiyang, Hunan province, two people were killed and three others were injured as a result of an attack by a man with a knife. This was reported by the Epoch Times on August 4.

"A knife attack took place on Caijici Street in Leiyang city, Hunan Province. <...> As a result of the incident, two people were killed and three were injured," the newspaper writes.

According to available information, a 31-year-old man with a knife ran out the road leading to the elementary school and began randomly attacking passers-by. Later, he broke into a gambling establishment and attacked the visitors.

It is specified that a girl and a two-year-old child died. The injured were sent to the hospital, and their condition is currently assessed as non-critical. The suspect was arrested.

On July 28, The Independent newspaper reported two deaths and two more injured in a stabbing in an office building in London. The London police clarified that the incident was not related to terrorism.
