Pushilin announced the critical situation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Krasnoarmeysk

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are in a critical situation in the Red Army area. This was announced on August 3 by the head of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) Denis Pushilin.

"The Red Army direction: it reports on the progress in a number of settlements <...>. I can say that the enemy is in an almost critical situation, because the ring around Krasnoarmeysk itself is shrinking," Pushilin posted a corresponding video message on his Telegram channel.

According to him, Russian troops are advancing towards the city from several directions at once. In addition, the head of the DPR stressed that the highway between Krasnoarmeysk and Konstantinovka came under the control of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation after the liberation of the settlement of Alexandro-Kalinovo.

"Progress is already underway in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Therefore, our positions are improving in an absolutely understandable logic," Pushilin added.

On July 31, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that Russian army soldiers had liberated the village of Chasov Yar in the DPR. Retired Colonel Anatoly Matviychuk, a former special forces officer, noted that the liberation of the settlement creates new prospects for the Russian army in the region.
