- The Federal Air Transport Agency announced the restoration of fuel supplies at Sochi airport
Sochi Airport continues to receive and send flights, fuel supply has been restored. This was announced on August 3 by the representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency Artem Korenyako.
"Since the beginning of the day, despite the period of time restrictions last night and in the morning, the air harbor has already serviced more than 200 aircraft," Korenyako wrote on his Telegram channel.
It is noted that changes in the flight schedule were also associated with difficulties with refueling aircraft with kerosene.
"The reason is the need to eliminate the fire at the oil depot outside the airport," said a representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency.
A fire at an oil depot in Sochi occurred earlier that day. It was clarified that the cause of the fire was an attack by a drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the Krasnodar Territory. Sochi Mayor Andrey Proshunin added that the debris also caught buildings in the garage cooperative on Aviatsionnaya Street. The fire was later extinguished.
