Lokomotiv has won the international beach soccer tournament

The Moscow club Lokomotiv has won the Moscow International Beach Soccer Cup. The final game took place on August 3.

The competition was held at the Russian Railways Arena beach complex, where a team from Moscow defeated the Iranian Golsapush club with a score of 8:3.

Izvestia's footage shows that many fans came to watch the performance of the teams, who supported the players with chants and songs. One of the Lokomotiv fans brought a drum to the match, and the Golsapush fans brought a national flag.

The third place in the tournament was taken by the Russian national team, which beat the Al-Mahmal team from Saudi Arabia with a score of 5:1.

The Moscow International Beach Soccer Cup started on July 31. Eight teams from Russia, Brazil, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Iran and Saudi Arabia took part in it. In addition to Lokomotiv and the national team, Russia was represented by the Strogino team.

In 2025, the Moscow International Beach Soccer Cup was held for the fourth time.
