The Kamchatka Volcanic Eruption Response Group (KVERT) emphasizes that this is the first historical eruption of the Krasheninnikov volcano. It is specified that the last outpouring of lava on the giant was recorded about 562 years ago. Currently, the volcano has been assigned an "orange" aviation hazard code.
According to the main directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation for the Kamchatka Territory, the ash discharge occurred at a height of up to 6 thousand m, the height of the mountain itself reaches 1856 m.
