The first plane from St. Petersburg to the new Gelendzhik Airport took off from Pulkovo Airport. This was reported on August 3 by a correspondent of Izvestia.

The press service of Pulkovo Airport reported that it is possible to fly from St. Petersburg to Gelendzhik three times a week — on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. The journey time will be 4.5 hours.
