An American soldier who went missing was searched for two days in Poland. This was announced on August 3 by the NaTemat portal.

It was clarified that the man disappeared on July 31 at about 19:00 local time (20:00 Moscow time) after leaving the military unit in Povidze. The authorities reported that he subsequently did not return to his home, nor did he contact his superiors.

Earlier, on March 26, it became known about the death of four American soldiers during military exercises in Lithuania. They mistakenly drove into a swamp in an M88 Hercules recovery vehicle, after which they drowned.
