In Ukraine, ambulance staff refused to go to the mobilized in the shopping center
In Boyarka, Kiev region, ambulance workers refused to go to the conscripted man at the territorial recruitment center (TCC, an analogue of the military enlistment office in Ukraine). This was reported on August 3 by the newspaper "Страна.иа ".
"The lawyer tried to call for medical help for his client, who is being held in the shopping mall building. But the ambulance explained to him that they might not be allowed to enter the military enlistment office," the publication says.
It is specified that the ambulance staff stated that they would arrive only if the call came from the military commissars themselves.
The day before, relatives of the mobilized went to a rally at one of the shopping malls in Vinnytsia, Ukraine. It is specified that there was a conflict between the protesters, employees of the shopping mall and representatives of social support (SP), during which the police, according to one of the local residents, used gas cylinders. Later, the Vinnytsia Shopping Center explained the need for a medical check-up to gather those mobilized at the stadium. Criminal cases have been opened against the protesters.
