Two people were killed and five injured in a collision between two cars in the Kaluga Region. This was announced on August 3 by the press service of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the region.

"On August 3, 2025, at 08:10 a.m., a traffic accident occurred in the Kirovsky district of the Kaluga Region, near the village of Zimnitsa," the department's Telegram channel says.

It is noted that the driver of a Ford Galaxy car drove into oncoming traffic and collided with a Gazelle car. As a result of the incident, the driver and passenger of the minivan died on the spot.

It is specified that four minor passengers of the Ford Galaxy car and the driver of the Gazelle received injuries of varying severity. The injured were taken to a medical facility for assistance.

Earlier that day, as a result of an accident in the Tomsk region, one person was killed and four others were injured. It was clarified that the passenger of the Lada Priora died on the spot, both drivers of the Toyota Corolla and Lada Priora and two more passengers of the domestic car were taken to the hospital.
