A fire at an oil depot in the Adler district of Sochi, which occurred due to the ignition of a fuel tank, has been localized. This was announced on August 3 at the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory.
"The fire at the oil depot in the Adler district of Sochi has been localized," the Telegram channel says.
It is noted that soon after the fire broke out, the fire moved to another tank. The total area of the fire increased to 362 sq. m.
At 06:05 (coincides with Moscow time), Gorenje was able to eliminate the burning at one of the tanks, by 07:30, experts had localized the fire at the second one.
The fire at the oil depot occurred earlier that day. It was clarified that the cause of the fire was an attack by a drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the region. Sochi Mayor Andrey Proshunin added that the debris also caught buildings in the garage cooperative on Aviatsionnaya Street.
