Three people were injured in an accident in the Irkutsk region.

In the Zalarinsky district of the Irkutsk region, three people were injured in an accident. This was announced on August 3 in the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the region.

"It has been previously established that the driver of the Oka car entered the oncoming traffic lane and collided with a VAZ-2112 car," the agency said in a statement on its Telegram channel.

The traffic incident occurred on the Zalari–Zhigalovo highway. It is specified that as a result of the collision, two passengers of the Oka and a passenger of the LADA were injured. They were taken to the hospital with injuries of varying severity. Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are conducting an investigation into the incident.
