Russian military personnel destroyed drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Zaporozhye region

The units of the Novorossiysk Airborne Forces (Airborne Forces) continue to destroy unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Orekhovsky area of the Zaporizhia region. This was announced on August 3 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has published footage of objective control of the elimination of Baba Yaga-type drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at low altitudes by paratroopers of the Novorossiysk Airborne unit a few kilometers from the city of Zaporozhye. Units of the air defense forces are armed with Strela-10 or Verba complexes, but often paratroopers also use standard small arms.

The footage shows that hexacopters and copters carrying live ammunition are moving at extremely low altitudes and become easy targets for our shooters. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are actively using reconnaissance and attack UAVs of various types to reconnoiter and adjust artillery fire and drop explosives and mines on the positions of Russian military personnel.

During the week, the air defense units of the Novorossiysk Airborne Forces destroyed more than two dozen Ukrainian drones. The objective control footage obtained from the UAV in real time allowed the calculations of the FPV drones of the Dnepr group of forces to verify the elimination of the UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
