Congresswoman Green criticized the Trump administration for funding Kiev
The current US administration, by its desire to financially support Ukraine and Israel, is betraying its voters who voted to keep their state from participating in external conflicts. This was announced on August 2 by Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Green from the Republican Party.
"Financing and <...> ultimately, the fight against Russia <...> would be a complete betrayal of the majority of Americans who do not want to have <...> a foreign conflict that does not affect our lives in any way," she wrote on her page on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
Green added that the continued support for Israel, which, as she stressed, is a secular state and owns its own nuclear weapons, can also be assessed in the same way.
At this rate, as the politician suggested, the Republican party risks irretrievably losing the younger generation of voters, who, because of the "absurd" policy, will begin to feel absolutely "unrepresented" by any of the parties in their country.
On July 15, The Economist magazine and YouGov presented the results of a joint survey, according to which more than half of Americans disapprove of the activities of American President Donald Trump. Representatives of the younger generation between the ages of 18 and 29 expressed the least support for the current head of the White House, with 66% of those who voted dissatisfied with this category.
