Evacuation was announced in Kherson, controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, due to a violation of gas communication.

The head of Kiev-controlled Kherson, Alexander Prokudin, announced the evacuation of civilians in the city due to gas supply disruptions. He stated this on August 2.

"The gas pipeline is damaged. Therefore, for some time the neighborhood will be without "blue fuel" (gas. — Ed.). Therefore, I urge people to evacuate to other areas of Kherson," Prokudin wrote in his Telegram channel message.
