UAZ and other Sollers production sites are currently not planning to switch to a four-day work week. This was reported to Izvestia on August 2 in the press service of the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant, refuting the information that was distributed online.

"All Sollers production sites, including UAZ, are operating on a federal schedule. We are not currently considering the possibility of introducing a shorter working week," the automaker's press service said.

They added that UAZ and a number of Sollers enterprises are on a planned corporate vacation, which will end on August 4.

On July 25, KAMAZ announced the transition to a one-day reduced working week from August 1, including due to the lack of market growth prospects, and the day before Gorky Automobile Plant announced a similar decision.

Prior to that, on July 22, AvtoVAZ announced that it was also considering switching to a four-day working week. The automaker cited the high key rate and stricter regulatory requirements for car loan borrowers as the reasons for the difficult market situation.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
