A six-year-old boy was injured in an octopus attack at an aquarium in Texas. This was reported on August 2 by NBC News.

"A six-year-old boy was injured when an octopus clung to his arm and wouldn't let go after the boy reached for the contact zoo at the San Antonio Aquarium," the publication notes.

According to the mother of the injured child, it took the help of three people to remove the animal from the boy. As a result of the incident, numerous dark marks from octopus suckers were left on his arm. As the aquarium staff explained, such bruises are harmless and go away within 14 days.

ABC TV channel reported on July 6 that a woman lost her arm as a result of a lion bite at a zoo in the Australian state of Queensland. It is specified that the incident occurred at the Darling Downs Zoo in Pilton. The animal attacked the visitor, grabbing her by the hand, while she was watching the caretakers working in the predator control department.
