Six people were injured as a result of overturning of a passenger bus in Mordovia. This was announced on August 2 by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the republic.
According to the agency, the accident occurred on the same day near the village of Khlebino, Tengushevsky district. According to preliminary data, the bus driver lost control, drove into a ditch, as a result of which the vehicle overturned. At the time of the incident, there were 48 passengers in the cabin, including six minors.
"Six people, including one child, received minor and moderate injuries. Some of them, including the minor, received medical assistance on the spot, and some were taken to the hospital," the Interior Ministry's Telegram channel said.
The agency clarified that the driver was sober. At the moment, the police are working at the scene of the accident.
The regional State Traffic Inspectorate reported on August 1 that two people were killed in a collision between two cars in the Rostov region. It was clarified that the driver of the VAZ-2109 lost control and drove into oncoming traffic, where there was a collision with a Volkswagen Passat. The passenger of the second car was hospitalized with injuries.
