Representatives of the Pentagon and RTX Defense Corporation, specializing in the production of aerospace systems, have signed a twenty-year contract worth up to $ 50 billion. This was announced on August 1 on the website of the US Department of Defense.

"RTX Corporation, located in Arlington, Virginia, has received a framework contract worth no more than $50 billion for RTX systems and the production of end products, spare parts, services and other types of support. <...> The contract completion date is July 31, 2045," the published document says.

In addition, it is noted that the production of the requested systems and weapons will be located entirely in the continental United States.
